Wine Xing was found with the goal of making excellent wines accessible to everyone. We believe that when you have a great glass of wine and are able to share it over a meal, at an event or while making personal connections, you'll enjoy life more and savor it to its fullest. We focus on the wine we offer and providing information and self-help tools to help everyone who visits our wine shop to select the wine that will fit their personal preferences and lifestyle, and that offer context, balance and a sense of place for how they intend to enjoy them.

Wine Xing offers wine by the glass, bottle and case. We also offer weekly wine tasting events, as well as a wine club (with several options) to help our clients have the most enjoyable wine experience available.

Eric Bean, Founder

Eric Bean is what many would refer to as a Renaissance Man. With a broad spectrum of interests and knowledge, Eric's path Wine Xing had a unique thread… striving to make life more enjoyable for others. With a PhD in Biochemistry, Eric went into the field of developing solutions to help people and animals live healthier lives. In 2005 Eric decided to take that passion in a bit of a different direction, when he launched Wine Xing. He's always been a wine enthusiast and wanted to share the joy of the grape with the world by bringing them excellent wines at affordable prices. There's nothing he enjoys more than hearing a happy customer come it to tell him his recommendation for a special occasion hit it right on the head.

A native of Southern California, Eric fell in love with the Willamette Valley when his sister moved up in the early 1970s. Once he got a taste of Oregon, he couldn't go back. In his spare time, when not sampling wine, Eric's generally got his feet off the ground, flying small airplanes (full scale and remote control), cycling, fishing, and when it's time to come down, playing computer games or skiing. (Eric's first ski trip was to Vancouver, BC as a winner of the Dating Game!)

Eric and his wife share a 7 year old rock iguana named Gizmo, that both at convinced will outlive them. Linda owns Synergy Yoga & Pilates Reformer Studio, right around the corner from Wine Xing.
